उत्तर प्रदेश: शीला दीक्षित किसी भी सीट से नहीं लड़ेंगी चुनाव (UP: Sheila Dikshit will contest election from any seat)

वाराणसी : यूपी में आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनज़र अभी तक की सबसे बड़ी खबर कांग्रेस के खेमे से निकलती नज़र आ रही है. खबर है कि मुख्यमंत्री पद के लिए कांग्रेस की प्रत्याशी शीला दीक्षित आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव में किसी भी सीट से चुनाव नहीं लड़ेंगी.

पार्टी में मौजूद विश्वसनीय सूत्रों के मुताबिक पार्टी ने शीला दीक्षित के साथ बातचीत के बाद यह निर्णय लिया है. हालांकि पार्टी की ओर से आधिकारिक तौर पर न तो कोई ऐलान किया गया है और न ही पूछने पर पार्टी प्रवक्ता इस बारे में कोई भी जानकारी देने को राजी हैं.

पार्टी के प्रदेश स्तर के आला नेता ने TwoCircles.net से बताया, 'कांग्रेस पार्टी अपने मुख्यमंत्री पद के प्रत्याशी को लेकर कोई रिस्क नहीं लेना चाहती है. वैसे भी दिल्ली में कांग्रेस के हारने के बाद शीला दीक्षित की साख थोड़ी कम हुई है, ऐसे में यदि मुख्यमंत्री पद की दावेदार ही हार जाती हैं तो इससे पार्टी की छवि को नुकसान पहुँचने के आसार हैं.'

सूत्रों की मानें तो कांग्रेस पार्टी चुनाव के बाद विधानपरिषद द्वारा शीला दीक्षित को सदन में भेजने की तैयारी में है, लेकिन राजनीतिक जानकारों का मानना है कि कांग्रेस के लिए ऐसा कर पाना भी दूर की कौड़ी साबित होगा.

इसके पहले शीला दीक्षित के वाराणसी की शहर उत्तरी विधानसभा सीट से लड़ना तय माना जा रहा था, इसके बारे में शहर कांग्रेस कमेटी में काफी हलचल भी थी लेकिन धीरे-धीरे यह शोर थम गया.

शीला दीक्षित की उम्मीदवारी से जुडी इस खबर के बाबत पार्टी के प्रदेश स्तर के नेता और प्रवक्ता कोई बयान देने से बच रहे हैं. ज्ञात हो कि ब्राहमण और महिला वोटों को एक साथ साधने की नीयत से कांग्रेस ने शीला दीक्षित को मुख्यमंत्री पद के प्रत्याशी के तौर पर प्रोजेक्ट किया था.

फिलहाल समाजवादी पार्टी ने कांग्रेस के साथ गठबंधन की संभावना को बीच भंवर में लटकाकर रखा हुआ है. कहा जा रहा है कि कांग्रेस के रणनीतिकार प्रशांत किशोर और सपा के नेताओं के बीच सीटों के बंटवारे को लेकर कोई स्पष्ट स्थिति नहीं बन पाने से ऐसा हो रहा है.

यदि कांग्रेस और सपा के बीच गठबंधन हो जाता है तो यह लगभग तय है कि इस स्थिति में शीला दीक्षित के भाग्य का फैसला कांग्रेस नहीं, बल्कि गठबंधन में मजबूत समाजवादी पार्टी करेगी.
